I’m so excited and nervous as this is my first blog post ever. So, I thought I would start with a little introduction about myself and my fluffs. It all began a long time ago, when I was just a little girl. I had always wanted a toy breed dog. When, I was about 10 was when I discovered the Maltese breed and since then, I knew I had to have one. My parents wouldn’t allows us to have any dogs….so I had most everything else growing up. So when my fiancé (then boyfriend) asked me what I wanted for my college graduation gift….I of course said a Maltese. He gave me a look and then, proceeded to say “one of those white dogs with the brown stains on their faces.” He like most men wanted a big dog, but he was willing to indulge me and make my dream come true. When I saw Maggie it was love at first site. I knew that I had to have her. Maggie was the runt of her litter, but was full of love and personality. Maggie quickly made everyone she meet fall in love with her, my fiancé included. Maggie was everything that I had ever wanted and dreamed about in my Maltese.
The saying Maltese are like potato chips, you can’t have just one….is so true. When Maggie was a little over a year old, we bought home Abbie. Abbie was the perfect addition to our little family.
Maggie and Abbie might not be related by blood, but they are definitely sisters. Maggie and Abbie quickly took over my life and I let them. It’s probably safe to say that I am obsessed with my Maltese. When, I brought Maggie home, I said to myself that I was not going to be one of those people who dresses up their dog or owns a stroller…I’m definitely one of those people, lol. I’m always ordering the latest and great products on the market for toy breeds. Maggie and Abbie are two very spoiled Maltese to say the least. I hope to share my adventures with Maggie and Abbie and connect with other dog owners.
I have to thank my friend, Melissa, for really helping and encouraging to me to start a blog. Thank you, Melissa!
